How much do your services cost?

Due to the unique nature of each project, costs can vary significantly. I offer transparent pricing with an hourly rate of $60. I'll provide a detailed project estimate upfront, outlining the expected scope of work and associated costs. 

What type of genealogy services do you offer?

My services include document retrieval, family tree building, DNA analysis, research reports, genealogy coaching, and solving complex genealogical mysteries

Is genealogy the only service you offer?

While genealogy is my core expertise, Ms. Info Lit leverages strong research and writing skills to assist clients with a variety of projects. We combine meticulous research with clear and engaging writing to deliver exceptional results. 

What other services besides genealogy do you offer?

My services also include grant writing, content writing, tutoring, consulting, and conference presentations 

Did my ancestor change their name at Ellis Island?

No.  This is a persistent genealogy myth.  Names were taken at the port of departure.  Upon arrival at Ellis Island, immigrants were verified and given physicals.  Name changing did not take place at Ellis Island.  You can read more about this on my blog.
